Working for Premiere Care

The majority of my life I have worked with technology, training people how to use computers and its software.  Making a change later in life is a challenge in itself and I wanted something which was equally enjoyable and satisfying and would continue to challenge me. Working for Premier Care has done just that, it has ticked all of my boxes and I absolutely love it. I don't know why I didn't do it sooner. It's not at all what I expected, less like work more like you're visiting a friend and doing a few jobs in their home whilst you are there. You build a relationship with the person, and they get to know you and trust is built. It's more about being caring and compassionate than qualifications, these can be gained with the help from the company. Your role helps others to continue to live independently in their home, the age group is quite diverse also. I was worried I wouldn't be able to do the personal care side of the job, but to be honest there is no embarrassment as I had previously cared for my Mum in her fight against cancer and if I could  it for my Mum I could do it for someone else.

So, if you are at a crossroads in your life, take a chance, it's a fantastic job and a fantastic company to work for, very friendly and knowledgeable.

Our Carer's Stories

I like working together as a team for our community.  I love having the flexibility with my hours which enables me to have a family/work balance. I have always had a passion for helping our elderly in the community. With this job I can learn and gain new skills and deliver the care they deserve.
